Greet like a Puerto Rico

We Puerto Ricans are usually very laidback, friendly and always willing to help. When meeting a new person we normally, as in many countries, we greet with one kiss on the cheek or a hand shake. If it's a friend we say "¿qué es la que hay?" (how's it going?) or "dímelo" (what's up).

Go comfortable

Puerto Rico is a hot and humid place so having the right clothes can definitely change your experience. There is mosquitoes everywhere so you might want to bring bugs repellent, also sunscreen without strong odor, glasses, a small umbrella for those raining days, comfortable sandals, shorts and short leaves clothes but also long sleeves because in raining days it gets a bit cold/chill (at least for me).
