Modern restaurant opened up by a Hollywood Director. Sophisticated but casual. Very popular among the pre-theatre dinner crowd. I listed it because it's literally RIGHT across the street from the main entrance of our building on Adelaide. If you need a quick bite or are tired the night of your arrival, this a a great go-to restaurant.

Visit the restaurant of famous Torontonian chef Sursur Lee co-owned by Toronto's famous rapper, Drake. The food is Asian-flare and has always been phenomenal when I've dined. The amosphere is awesome too! Afterwards, stroll along the night clubs on King Street.

This is our favourite restaurant - and, if you're up for exploring another neighborhood in Toronto, come check out Little Italy, west along College Street. Bar Isabel has consistently been rated one of the best restaurants in all of Toronto over the last 4 years (#1 in 2013). It's a hipster joint, with neat lighting and Spanish tapas. If you love Rioja, they have some of the most extensive options on their wine list. Our friends who visit from NYC are always trying to get a table. It truly is a must for visitors to Toronto! TIP: book early, it can take up to 6 weeks to get a reservation!

If you're in town for a big sports game, grab a pint at Real Sports! There are over 40 beers to choose from and 39 feet wide TVs cover the large walls around the place. It's an awesome spot, even for me who is not all that into sports, and I'd definitely recommend checking it out while in TO.

In the Distillery District of Toronto are the famous heritage buildings of the Gooderham and Worst Distillery - think Boardwalk Empire (the HBO series). They distilled much of the Canadian Whisky that was brought into the US by bootleggers during prohibition. The area is now a quaint historic district with annual events (Christmas Market and light shows) and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. It's considered a National Historic Site of Canada.
