Walk through the heart of Vancouver’s LGBTQ community

Davie Street has been the heart of Vancouver’s LGBTQ+ community for decades. Meet the designer of the LGBTQIA+ Map for a guided walk through the neighbourhood. • Start with a visit to Little Sisters Book and Art, which has survived legal challenges and bombings, and offers a great selection of reads for folks of all genders and ages. • Then we’ll meander down the street, stopping for coffee and popping into LGBTQ+-owned businesses. • Our walk will culminate with drinks at the Fountainhead Pub, one of the original gathering spots in Davie Village. You’ll receive a copy of my 2025 LGBTQIA+ Map of Vancouver, and I’ll be happy to share my recommendations for more places to shop, dine, and sightsee in town.

Discover the last Ancient Trees in Vancouver

Join me, a conservationist of ancient trees, for a big tree walking tour in Stanley Park, visiting the country’s biggest maple and some of Canada’s largest ancient cedars and Douglas firs. • Follow secret trails to visit trees that are nearly 1,000 years old. We will visit the park’s largest and oldest trees, many of them hidden to the average park visitor. • Using century-old postcards and historic maps, I’ll provide a unique perspective on the history of Vancouver and its ancient forests. • You’ll see historical evidence of how First Nations used the forests, and how settlers cut down trees during the era of industrial logging. • Pause and appreciate the significance of these remarkable giant trees. I’ll explain the future of these rare giants and their ecological importance. You'll leave my walk inspired by this secluded and peaceful area of Vancouver and the centuries-old giants that reside there, and you may even forget you’re right beside a major city during the tour.

Shopping tour of The Drive with queer icon Brandy Mars

Take a personalized tour of iconic LGBTQIA+ landmark businesses along Vancouver’s Commercial Drive with me, an artist and owner of the gayest lil’ gift shop in all the land. The Drive is a multicultural and bohemian street that hosts the annual Dyke March. • I’ll kick off by distributing the highly coveted and detailed Vancouver Gay Map before introducing you to the owners of Womyns’ Ware, a women-owned sex-positive shop. • Take a snack break at Elbo Jamaican Patties—which works with Black and queer communities in Vancouver—before migrating to the floral shop Studio Full Bloom. • Browse the deep selection at Mintage Commercial Drive, Vancouver’s largest vintage clothing store, and then JQ Clothing for fun gender-inclusive outfits. You’ll leave with insider tips on queer Vancouver’s hidden gems, and a secret map to guide your future adventures in the neighborhood.

In this hands-on session in Vancouver with me, a photographer, you’ll train your eye to anticipate moments, compose striking shots, and create images that tell a story. This tour is designed for all levels, from beginners to seasoned photographers. • Meet at the Vancouver Art Gallery, where I’ll introduce key techniques for shooting on the move. • Explore bustling streets, hidden vantage points and reflective surfaces, working with light, layering, and dynamic compositions. I’ll offer tailored feedback and creative challenges to help refine your skills. • Wrap up in historic Gastown, where you’ll put your new techniques into action against its textured, atmospheric backdrop. You’ll leave with enhanced photography skills, a sharper creative eye, and a collection of compelling urban images.

We are happy to welcome you on our beautiful 2011 50 foot Jeanneau Sailboat that is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We depart Mosquito Creek and motor out of Vancouver Harbour into Burrard Inlet. You will see Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and unique views of downtown from the water. Once we pass under the Lions Gate Bridge we'll set sail and enjoy stunning views of the Vancouver area, Passage and Bowen Islands, Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, Howe Sound and even Georgia Straight. Sit back and relax whilst we serve up a light snack and a selection of Beers, Ciders and assortment of alcoholic beverages as you enjoy the views of English Bay. We have water and pop available for the minors, tea and coffee as well. If you're the more adventurous type, we can put you to work and teach you the basics of how to sail, trimming the sails and even take the helm. After 2 hours on the water pack up the sails and motor back to Mosquito Creek and the picturesque views of Coal Harbour. We offer all kinds of other experiences if your looking for something more private or don't see a date that works for your group. Please reach out and well do our best to create a unique and once in a lifetime experience! We have a covered cockpit should we see showers. We only cancel due to unsafe conditions.

Important: we are a 100% CATCH & RELEASE guiding company. Under no exceptions do we bring home fish to eat. Minimum age requirement of 10 After we pick you up from your Airbnb in Whistler we will head over to one of the stocked lakes in town to catch Rainbow Trout which on average range between 10 & 14 inches in length. I will set up a large portable ice fishing shelter which will have a heater inside to keep you nice and toasty. After drilling a few holes into the ice with my powered Auger, I will have you fishing in no time. If it's a nice day you can move around the lake a lot more. This way, you can take in all the beautiful scenery the area has to offer which includes Whistler and Blackcomb mountain in the background. There is a good chance we will have the lake all to ourselves. It's the perfect getaway when you need a break from skiing and want some quiet time. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list. Great for groups, great for teams, and great for team-building.

You'll enjoy an in-depth orientation, learn all about Whistler's first inhabitants and hear interesting local facts that you won’t find in the history books before arriving at the shore of stunning Green Lake. After enjoying some first-class lakeside views, we’ll then drive through one of our oldest neighborhoods, view some charming local cabins and continue through the temperate rain forest to the area’s original town site. At this stop, surrounded by thick lush wilderness, we discover humble structures still standing from the early 1900’s and take time to enjoy one of Whistler’s most beautifully hidden natural recreation areas. Heading south, we'll then stop to view the birthplace of skiing in the valley. You'll learn all about how Whistler became North America’s largest ski resort and host of the 2010 Winter Olympics! Next we’ll take a trip to meet the locals in a little hidden neighborhood at the valley’s south end. This area truly has something for everyone, cafes, breweries, bakeries and even a unique place that offers axe throwing! Finally, our journey will take us to a series Olympic games sites before arriving back in Whistler Village to finish. My Dumpling-making classes are offered read-round. We will learn how to make authentic Chinese dumplings with Judy, from Historical Chinatown Tours. First, Judy will give you a 1-hr sneak peak of historical Chinatown (tour optional) and then we'll spend 2 hrs learning how to fold the wrappers, cook the dumplings, and eat them (this is a full meal and all the ingredients are organic). You can either choose one of these adventures as an option or make it custom based according to your preferences. 1. For Cherry Blossom in April, Queen Elizabeth Park. 2. For a mix of city & waterfront experience, we can walk around Gastown and Canada Place. 3. If you love the arts, then we can walk around the colorful streets in Granville Island 4. We can go to the seawall around Science World and capture downtown Vancouver skyline. Special Location: 1.5 hour walk across Stanley Park Seawall from Third Beach to Lions Gate Bridge $250 per person. If you don't choose, Default is 2nd option. I will be sending you up to 15 edited photos which will be ready after 2 weeks from the day of the experience. These photos will be digital and are perfect for posting on social media & share with your family and friends. Wanderung durch den Regenwald rund um den Capilano-Canyon

Enjoy this unique and memorable interpretive rainforest expirence. Join me, as we wander through the lush Rainforest of Vancouvers spectatular North Shore. We begin at the magnificent Capilano Pacific trail The sound of the river is present immediately as we gently wind along the canyon 200 feet above the river below. A well maintained path guides us on a trail favourited by locals and nature enthousiast alike. Loaded with waterfalls and beautiful trellis work we will make our way up to the clevland Dam at the base of the North Shore mountains for jaw dropping views of the iconic Lions and Grouse mountains and gorgouse Capilano lake. This lush and stunning rainforest is an absolute specticle with its enormous Coastal Douglas Fir and graceful Cedars trees. This is the best place to expirence the incredible North Shore of Vancouver! Like a scene out of Jurassic Park the ferns and hanging mosses will tickle your senses and leave you awestruck and delighted! Snowshoeing In Vancouver's Winter Wonderland

This tour begins with us picking you up at your doorstep, anywhere in the Vancouver proper area. We will adventure into the nearby mountains. Awaiting us is many kms of snowshoe trails in a winter wonderland setting. The trails run through sub-alpine meadows and snowy forests. When we’ve had our fill of exercise and the gorgeous sights, we can stop at the Lodge for a refreshment and a light snack before we return to the city. This wonderful winter day will leave you wanting more! Included in this tour: Door to door return transportation, snowshoe pass, snowshoe rental and snowshoe guide.
